Wedgwood Green Jasperware
A Wedgwood green jasperware plaque featuring white bas-reliefs of "Four Boys Under Trees" based on a design by Lady Templetown. An alternative title for this design is "Four Sportive Cupids".
One of the boys is seated and holds a flower, one holds a helmet with a snake, one holds a dove, and the final boy holds the hourglass.
The Wedgwood plaque is set on a plush background and is framed. Please note the front of the frame is perspex not glass.
The frame measures approximately 13 3/4 inches by 11 3/4 inches and the plaque measures approximately 5 1/2 inches by 4 inches. The plaque is impressed "Wedgwood Made in England" along with number 05 on the back.
The Wedgwood plaque is first quality and is in very good condition.
