The plate measures approximately 8 inches in diameter and is marked on the underside "Royal Doulton - The Store Stump - The Work place of Mr. Apple and Mr. Toadflax - A series of plates featuring the homes and work places of the mice of Brambly Hedge – Wilfred’s legs felt tired and he sat down by the fire to rest. Mr. Apple lifted down a jar of sugared violets and filled a twist of paper with sweets - Jill Barklem 1984”.
