Wedgwood Blue Jasperware
A Wedgwood Cobalt Blue biscuit barrel with a white bas-relief of classical maidens, foliage and trees. The lid has an acorn shaped finial with oak leaves and acorns.
The biscuit barrel measures approximately5 inches in diameter by 5 1/4 inches tall plus the lid and it is impressed "Wedgwood Made in England" on the base.
The biscuit barrel is glazed on the inside.
The biscuit barrel has been previously owned however due to age there is a small mark to the rim as shown in the photograph which can not be seen when the lid is in place and a slight roughness to the top of the acorn finial.
