Wedgwood Other Wedgwood
A Wedgwood bone china tea cup and saucer made to commemorate the maiden voyage of Britannia.
The P&O cruise ship Britannia made its maiden voyage in 2015, departing on March 14 and returning on March 28. The 14-night trip was a Mediterranean cruise before returning to Southampton.
In gold writing around the inside of the tea cup it reads 'Britannia Inaugural Celebration March 2015'.
The cup measures approximately 3 1/4 inches in diameter and stands around 2 3/4 inches tall. The saucer measures 6 inches in diameter.
These limited edition cups and saucers were originally gifts given to P&O Cruises Officers to thank them for their continued hard work and commitment and the design was inspired by The Starburst, Britannia's astonishing atrium centrepiece.
The cup and saucer have been previously owned, they are first quality and in very good condition. The cup and saucer come with their original Wedgwood box as shown.
