Wedgwood Black and White Dip Jasperware
An impressive antique Wedgwood black dip jasperware Blind Man's Buff plaque.
This bas-relief 'Blind Man's Buff' was first modelled by John Flaxman Jnr in 1782 when four drawings were originally sent to Wedgwood to decorate the side of teapots.
The plaque measures approximately 11 inches by 4 inches.
The plaque is impressed on the back "Wedgwood" and hand written in pencil it reads "Blind Man's Buff by John Flaxman" .
The plaque is first quality, however please note there is a tiny nibble to the top left hand corner and also a small crack by the two figures together at the left hand side of the plaque.
