Wedgwood Portland Blue Jasperware
An unusual Wedgwood portland blue jasperware teapot featuring white bas-reliefs of Acanthus leaves around the outside of the teapot. The outside of the lid is blue with three concentric white circles and the spout and handle are both solid white. The interior and base of the teapot is also white. The interior is not glazed.
The teapot measures approximately 7 1/2 inches from the end of the spout to the end of the handle and it stands approximately 3 1/2 inches tall plus the lid.
The teapot is impressed 'Wedgwood Made in England' on the base.
The teapot is first quality and is in very good condition. The teapot comes with the original presentation box as shown.
