The plate measures approximately 8 inches in diameter and on the underside reads "Royal Doulton - The Picnic - from the Brambly Hedge Gift Collection - When tea was over, the grown-ups snoozed under the bluebells, while the young mice played hide-and-seek in the primroses. - Jill Barklem 1989".
