A Wedgwood white porcelain round plaque depicting Madonna and Child set in a gold coloured frame.

The plaque measures approximately 11 inches in diameter, and the frame measures approximately 13 inches in diameter.

On the back of the plaque written in gold it reads 'Madonna and Child after the Taddei Madonna by Michelangelo modelled by Arnold Machin, O.B.E. R.A. for the Royal Academy. No 50 in a limited edition of 100. Wedgwood England.'

This framed plaque is in very good condition and is first quality. Please note this is a very heavy piece.
