Royal Doulton Brambly Hedge
A “The Plan” collector plate designed by Jill Barklem from the "Brambly Hedge Gift Collection" produced by Royal Doulton.
The plate measures approximately 8 inches in diameter and on the underside reads "Royal Doulton - The Plan - A series of four surprise outing plates from the Brambly Hedge Gift Collection -“We thought it would be nice to have a surprise picnic for young Wilfred" whispered Mr. Apple "we won't tell him what it's for, and we'll all meet at midday by the Palace roots". Mr. Toadflax was delighted with the suggestion, and went inside to tell his wife . - Jill Barklem 1993”.
This decorative plate which is now discontinued, is in excellent pre-owned condition. Please note the plates green writing on the back of the plate has not been printed correctly.
