Wedgwood Green Jasperware
A classic, Wedgwood green Jasperware scalloped shaped trinket box.
The lid is decorated with the neo-classical Sacrifice to Asclepius cameo, featuring Asclepius and a youth. Asclepius, is the son of Apollo. The box has a white bas-relief rose border and stylized flowers on the base. The trinket box measures approximately 5 inches by approximately 1 3/4 inches deep. The box is stamped on the underside 'Wedgwood Made in England'.
The trinket box has been previously owned but is first quality and in very good condition together with the original box, however the box is a little tatty.
